Malaria and Vector Research Group > Malaria Vaccine Research Laboratory
Basic research in the field of molecular immunology, studies on the development and evaluation of new technologies for the design and immunological testing of vaccine candidates, variation genetic and antigenic analysis of plasmodium species, bioinformatics and immunoinformatics analysis of antigens and the role of the immune system in the development of the vaccine are being conducted in this laboratory. Improvement of expression systems, study of different adjuvant systems, different prime/boost strategies and creation and presentation of a cheap and efficient platform such as microalgae in the development of oral malaria vaccine are in progress.
